The development of components for robotics and automation is based on the technology and know-how acquired at Hirose-Fukushima Laboratory of Tokyo Institute of Technology. How do I drive and control a brushless motor?
Using one SH2 Tiny Controller and one 3 Axes Power Module you can easily drive one brushless motor. This solution can allow you to drive up to TWO brushless motors with using hallsensors, encoders and potentiometers as feedbacks for your controller.
In case you need more power than 28V and 5A you can always make use of three 10A Power modules instead of one 3Axes Power Module.
How do I connect a few microcontrollers together?
Our components can be connected by using the CAN ports and making use of the CAN Open protocol (Please contact us for more details), also serial communication can be achieved using the TTL or RS232 level ports available on board.
How do I connect my computer to the components?
By using our WirelessSerial converter board user can connect by WiFi to the robot.
Eventually also the SerialDownloading board can be utilized to connect the computer
to the robot by serial or USB port.
I do not have space for hardware, how can I drive two small DC motors?
The Mini2Axes board is the right solution for this. Two motor amplifier are installed onboard and they can be controlled with the power of the SH2 micro processor with using Analog inputs and/or encoders
What kind of signal do I have to generate for using HiBot motor power modules?
All components needs PWM signal input which can be generated by the SH2 Tiny Controller, the SH2 Controller or the Mini2Axes boards. However the Titech Driver ver.5 can accept in input also an anlog signal 0-5v and besides the board can generate an on board position and direct control without the need of a microcontroller.
What if I don't have the resources and time for programming?
A set of the 4AxesDC servo, the TitechDriver ver.1 or TitechDriver ver.5 can be one solution with their preinstalled firmware and onboard analog control. HiBot provides also custom made software firmware service for our customer needs so please contact us. You might also want to visit also the Dowbload/Link section where we provide sample codes that can help the user getting into the programming phase.
Where do I find wires and connectors for my application?
User can purchase cable sets (on one edge wires are already placed inside their housing) for our components directly from our website. However as we furnish the connector and contact codes, user can purchase them directly to the maker or trough online website. Please contact us on this and we will provide with more details where to find them.
